She
returned home late one night, after a hard day’s work.
Thinking back, the plans
made for the day worked out great.
Splashing some refreshing water on her face,
while looking at the mirror. She saw a reflection of herself smiling back to
her.
It made her feel happy in spite of all the exhaustion.
With a sense of
relief and accomplishment, she climbed the bed.
But she took a moment pause, to
thank Allah for everything.. before sleeping
away all the tiredness in peace.
..drifting
away in dreams under the seamless night.
until dawn
breaks.
The eyes
open to a glittery morning’s breaking light.
“You
woke up this morning. That’s a good start.” She thought.
Alhamdulillah.
Greeting the morning with a smile.
